Royal Ascot Trip Itinerary 

 

9.00 am Meet at a location tbc in either Hampton or Esher

9.30 am Coach leaves Club and you are served bacon rolls and drinks aboard coach by staff 

10.30 am (approx.) Coach arrives at coach park at Ascot Racecourse

10.45am – 1.45pm (approx.) Buffet food will be put out in party tent on tables (including drinks) in coach park 

2.00pm Enter racecourse

2.30pm (subject to change) First race

5.30pm (subject to change) Last race

6.00pm Meet back at coach in coach park for more nibbles and more drinks 

7.00pm Coach leaves racecourse for club and drinks are once again served by staff 

8.30pm Arrive back at club and gain entrance to see band tbc 

Please be aware of the following points:

The coach will leave its departure points promptly, refunds will not be offered to anyone who arrives late and misses the coach

Alcoholic beverages will be available on the coach on the way to the racecourse and way home

You are free to do your own thing inside the racecourse. All food/drink consumed inside the racecourse is not included in the package

Tickets for entrance to the racecourse will be given to you on the coach. They are your responsibility from this point on; lost tickets will not be replaced.

The Royal Procession before racing starts at 2pm. Anyone wishing to watch this will need to enter the racecourse by 1.40pm

There will be a traditional sing-along around the band stand after racing starting at 6pm for half an hour.  Free song books are provided at the racecourse

Ladies are required to dress in a manner appropriate to a smart occasion. Many wear hats although this is not compulsory. Gentlemen must wear a shirt and tie, preferably with a suit or jacket. Sports attire, jeans and shorts are strictly forbidden.
